Roles and Permissions

If you created your organization’s Coral account, then you are an Admin. Any other users that you invite to your account in the future will be Users, not Admins (talk with your Coral rep to convert some of your Users to Admins). The key differences between an Admin and a User are:

	Admin	User
Dashboard functionality	Has access to all functionality, including the Controls tab and Integration tab	Has access to only the Chats tab, Create Chat tab, Insights tab, and Scaled messaging tab
Visibility of chats	Can see all chats for all Users and Admins of the account	Can only see the chats that they are in (whether they created them or not)
Creating group chats	Can create chats without inviting themselves as a participant	Must invite themselves as a participant when creating a new chat
